Guidaloca Beach
5 minutes away
This quaint little beach with crystal clear waters offers a few lidos for snack and umbrellas and is very popular for swimming and snorkeling. Half of the beach is rocky, so bring your water socks.
You will pass this beach shortly before your arrival at Villa Felice, so keep your eyes out for it.
Boat Excursion from Castellammare
15 minutes away
In the port of Castellammare - there are a variety of operators who will take you on an excursion along the coast where you will get a totally different perspective of Sicily as the Mediterranean's biggest island.

Erice - Medieval mountaintop village
45 minutes away
This ancient, medieval village sits a few thousand feet (750m) above the sea and offers breathtaking views, wonderful old cantinas, handmade ceramics, and some of the best pastries and deserts while adhering to traditions that have lasted for hundreds of years.
Trapani
40 minutes away
Trapani is a wonderful blend of old (its historic centre) and new. Being a major port on a strategic part of the island, you can get lost in Trapani's history while also experiencing a variety of Sicilia cuisines that are influenced by many other countries in the mediterranian.
Island of Favignana
Take the ferry from the Trapani Port - 1.5 hours
Once you get to the port of Trapani (about 40 minutes), you can take a high speed ferry to the Island of Favignana and explore her beautiful beaches, shallow cliffs, and lovely blue waters. Rent a bike as the island is relatively flat and grab a picnic by the sea.
Grotta Mangiapane Cave
35 minutes away
From ancient times through the mid 1950s, these caves were used by locals to protect them from the elements where they built a mini town that offered a bakery/restaurant, a tailor, a blacksmith, and small living quarters.
Nearby you will find the town of Custonaci that offers gorgeous views of the western Sicily shoreline, as well as a beach at Cornino to swim, or perhaps check out the hiking trail that is close enough to walk to for an elevated view from Monte Cofono.

The Food!
Sicily has Italian, Greek, Norman, and African influences and nobody looks at food as an art form more than Siciliani. Ask us for recommendations.
